Solstice Celebration and Open Mic Night (Anchorage)

Join us on the shortest day of the year to celebrate our literary community and the holidays! We’ll gather for an open mic night to share our work, enjoy some good company, and support our friends at the Writer’s Block. Grab a drink, grab a friend, and grab your most recent draft – we’ll see you there!
Date: Thursday, December 21, 6-8pm (please arrive by 5:45 to sign up to read!)
Location: Writer’s Block Bookstore (3956 Spenard Rd, Anchorage)
What to bring: Yourself (and a friend)! Optionally, you can also bring a piece of writing to share. Readings will be limited to five minutes each. Signups to read will begin at 6:00 and will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis.
