Start Writing Right Now

with Tina Tocco

Details: This virtual class will consist of four sessions meeting, weekly on Sunday
Dates: October 20 – November 10, 2024
Time: 1-3pm AKT
Location: Zoom

Description: Have you always wanted to try your hand at writing, but never took the leap?  Maybe you’ve put down your pen for a while and need a jumpstart.  Come experiment in this low-stress, generative class!  You’ll kindle your imagination with fun prompts — music, sounds, images, objects, etc. — and share your writing in a supportive environment.  You’ll get positive feedback on your work, and walk away each week with at least one new piece of writing and the tools to continue on this path.  Who knows?  You might even start some pieces you’d like to turn into something more!

While this class will be primarily geared toward fiction writers, poetry and nonfiction writers may also find it useful.

This class is open to writers of all levels of skill and experience. Beginners are welcome.
