WINTER WORDS 2023
February 19, 2023 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
WINTER WORDS 2023
Celebrate the winter writing season, enjoy afternoon tea, win fabulous door prizes, and support 49 Writers! Join us for the annual Winter Words fundraising event, which this year features Jessica Cherry, co-editor, and Corinna Cook, Roman Dial, and Bill Sherwonit, contributors, to Wheels on Ice: Stories of Cycling in Alaska, which was recently published by the University of Nebraska Press. We’re especially honored that Jessie and fellow writers will be joining us to read from and discuss the book because it was co-edited by the late Frank Soos, our beloved former Program Chair. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear remarkable stories from some of Alaska’s favorite storytellers and new, unique voices.
