Lily H. Tuzroyluke is an indigenous writer from Tikigaq, Klukwan, and Kincolith, British Columbia. Her debut novel Sivulliq: Ancestor will be released 1/10/2023, a fiction novel about an Inupiaq family surviving smallpox and Yankee commercial whaling in the 1890’s. She currently lives in Anchorage, Alaska.
Sandra Beasley is the author of four poetry collections, most recently Made to Explode; as well as Don’t Kill the Birthday Girl: Tales from an Allergic Life, a disability memoir. Awards for her work include a NEA Fellowship and five DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities artist grants. She lives in Washington, D.C.
Zenique Gardner Perry writes stories about family, race, faith and all its intersections. Sometimes, her work pushes a social justice agenda. Zenique is also the co-founder and lead facilitator of Undo Bias, a consulting group focused on accompanying antiracism efforts in organizations and nonprofits around St. Louis and beyond. Her stories may be found in the New Delta Review and The Delacorte Review. Zenique is a recent graduate of the MFA program at Washington University in St. Louis, where she lives with her husband and their animals.
Danielle D. Lucero is a PhD candidate in the Justice and Social Inquiry program in the School of Social Transformation at Arizona State University. Her current work seeks to investigate the relationships between tribal enrollment, Pueblo women’s experiences with dating, marriage, and family and exploring the connections between identity, belonging, and place. Danielle is an enrolled member of the Pueblo of Isleta located in central New Mexico as well as Chicana with connections to the northeastern New Mexican town of Santa Rosa. In her free time, Danielle enjoys fly fishing and drawing comics.
Emily Lee Luan is the author of I Watch the Boughs, selected for a 2020 Poetry Society of America Chapbook Fellowship. Her first book, 回 / Return, won a 2021 Nightboat Poetry Prize and will be published in 2023.
Jan Beatty’s sixth book, The Body Wars, was published in Fall, 2020 by the University of Pittsburgh Press. Beatty is the winner of the Red Hen Nonfiction Award for her memoir, American Bastard, 2021. A new chapbook, Skydog, was released from Lefty Blondie Press in May, 2022.
Sarah Pape teaches English and works as the Managing Editor of Watershed Review at Chico State. Her poetry and prose has recently been published or is forthcoming in: The New York Times, New England Review, Passages North, Ecotone, Crab Orchard Review, The Pinch, Hayden’s Ferry Review, and others. Her chapbook, Ruination Atlas, was published by dancing girl press. She curates community literary programming at the 1078 Gallery and is a member of the Community of Writers.
