Christina Berke is a California-based writer and educator with a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. Her work is in Edible, Teen Vogue, NPR and elsewhere. She’s been supported by Bread Loaf, Sewanee, Vermont Studio Center and others. More at www.christinaberke.com.

Farnaz Fatemi is an Iranian American poet and writer and current Santa Cruz County (CA) Poet Laureate, and founding member of The Hive Poetry Collective. Her book, Sister Tongue زبان خواهر, was published in September 2022 and received a Starred Review from Publisher’s Weekly.

Jasmin Iolani Hakes was born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii. She is the product of the many peoples who emigrated to Hawaiʻi from the Phillipines, Portugal, and Puerto Rico in the early 1800’s.  She has received support from Writing x Writers, Community of Writers, Hedgebrook, VCCA, and Storyknife. She is the author of Hula, named a must-read book by Oprah Daily, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and others.

Su Hwang is the author of Bodega (Milkweed Editions), which received the 2020 Minnesota Book Award in poetry and a finalist for the 2021 Kate Tufts Discovery Award. Born in Seoul, Korea, and raised in New York, she currently lives in Minneapolis and works with the Minnesota Prison Writing Workshop.

Jen Stever is an Iñupiaq and queer writer, mom, and artist. She has an MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction) from UAA and is the author of a poetry micro-chapbook, Immuk and Cookies. She is an Anchorage Museum writer-in-residence and serves on the Advisory Committee for the Kachemak Bay Writers’ Conference.
