We have two more Reading & Craft Talks scheduled at
Great Harvest Bread Company before the end of this year. On November 14, 7:00 pm, Kaylene Johnson

Biography, History, and Memoir” and on December

Words” – a discussion of how she brings all things culinary to the table and to
her writing. Food is a compelling subject and often a creative vehicle for
setting scene, describing culture, and crafting memoir.

at the F Magazine website. The contest
deadline is January 20, 2013.

Women of Words, a weekly writers group, is looking for new members. Our group has been active for three years but we’ve recently lost several people who moved Outside. We are a small and informal group, and we consider supporting each other in our writing endeavors as important as doing critiques of each others’ work. Most, but not all, of our members have been published. We are looking for a few intermediate or advanced writers, and possibly one or two beginners. Nonfiction (including memoir), fiction, and poetry welcome. Contact Stephanie at sajody@gmail.com.
