The Anchorage Museum is seeking playwrights to create two, 10-15 minute museum theater pieces that will be performed as part of an Alaska Gold Rush exhibit May 30-July 30. Selected playwrights will be paid $1000 for the final script.
Scripts must explore some aspect of the Alaska Gold Rush of 1880-1914 and cast no more than two actors. Interested individuals should submit a treatment including a brief script sample: 200-500 words that illustrate character, dialogue, action, content and use of setting by Feb. 1.
A document with more specific script criteria and info about the selection process is available.
