We’re delighted to report that
our loyal sponsors, University of Alaska
Press and Epicenter Press, have both contributed
to Alaska Book Week again in 2013. Joining them this year is Anchorage publisher, VP&D House. Donations such as these allow us to print
and distribute posters and bookmarks and cover other outreach and coordination
costs — which are increasing as participation in the event continues to rise
year-by-year.

This year, the Anchorage Barnes
and Noble store has committed to supporting Alaska Book Week for the first
time! We appreciate the enthusiasm of the Anchorage
staff for creating a special event around this annual celebration, with a
percentage of book sale proceeds going to Alaska Book Week. Look for more
details as plans take shape.
